Hi All,

Just got my first Accord and liking it so far. I've got a 2.2CDTI Exec with a 2R23 SatNav unit in it.

Couple of questions i was hoping the knowledgeable may be able to help with :

1) It's spitting out my CDRWs as though they're not recognised. Do we know if they should be accepted? If not do we know if it will accept a CDR with MP3s?
2) Bought second hand, the bluetooth hands free seems to have a security pin on it. With no way of contacting the previous owner, is there a way of removing the password?

Thanks in advance.

Have you tried 0000 or 1234 for your Bluetooth? Mine plays copied cds but not in mp3 format I had to change the setting on my pc when burning.

Yup tried the obvious ones but to no avail. Wonder if there is a master reset code / phrase.

Copied cd's or CDRs are working without an issue. Its just CDRWs that dont. Im guessing its because of the lower quality so im waiting to get some high quality CDRWs to see if that works.

For the Bluetooth you will need to go to Honda for them to unlock it with hds. It doesn't take long but they will more than likely charge you for it.

The accord audio system wont play CDRW discs.
Best option is a xcarlink module to add ipod or external audio option to the system

Not sure about the password, have you tried syaing "clear" when prompted - this should clear the entire bluetooth system
