I drive a 2007 honda accord ex. The security system was activated last week by a passenger sitting in my car after I left the vehicle (as you know the car locks automatically. The same day the alarm was sounding when I was driving, it stopped that night and I thought no more about it. I then went on holiday for a week. On my return I found that the key fob would not activate the doors and the vehicle would not stop, I therefore charged the battery.
Now the car does start, but the alarm continues to sound and the key fob also does not still work. I have changed the battery in the key fob, but other than this I am out of options.
Has anyone encountered this before? If so do you please have a solution? I rely on my car for work as a community nurse and I am getting a little desperate now for my shift in the morning.
To add I have had to leave the -ve cable unattached to stop the noise.
Hope you can ***ist
Kind regards
Amanda

Sounds like a couple of things,

You may actually need to replace the battery in the car, you can order one of these through our Affilated dealer Holdcroft Honda, who can post it out to you. (Don't forget to mention your from Type Accord)
The second thing is as the keyfob battery wasn't replaced before it died, you will most likely need to re-program the key fobs.

Below are a couple of threads, one a similar case to yours and the other is a how to re-program the key fob, keep in mind that you need to do it for all key fobs at the same time

Here are the threads :)

This one alarm keeps going particularly post #8

and this one (ignore the drivers side switch ***le )
In order to re-code the fob the advice is in this thread drivers side window switch post # 10

Keep us all posted
