Any recommendations on the best thing to lube it with?

Dan, I'm wondering if this is due to the hot weather as mine has just started doing exactly the same thing!

The thought had crossed my mind. Burnt the hell out my arm this afternoon when I stuck it out the window. :lol:

Still not a pleasant sound when you know how much they cost to fix.
