I put new drop links on my 54 plate CDTI saloon last year. I think they are starting to go already as iv got a horrible knock on the suspension. Iv checked all the ball joints and suspension bushes but nothing seems untoward. I v pulled at the drop links and they seem solid but iv notice rust coming out the rubber. I bought some ebay cheapy ones so I probably deserved it. I wanna get some descent ones any ideas where to buy and what brand?

Lemforder, Meyle or OEM are all good brands, try mister-auto.co.uk Lemforder are around £25ea on that site.

As accord n22 said. I got meyle hd and they seem really well made I've had no problems and they have been on about a year now. Plenty of others have recommended them from this forum as well.

I have had them on an Avensis for well over a year and they have been solid compared to others that went before them SWAG etc.
The ball joint on the HD versions is massive probably 50% bigger than the others I used, that translates to much greater surface area and bearing surface.
What I will say is that if your shocks are getting tired then the droplinks and ARB rubbers won't last very long, worn shocks make them work much harder IME.
