Egr valve cleaning

Hi guys,
Quick question for the accord ctdi boys, when your car is idling say for about a minute is there a sound like sneezing or air pressure releasing coming from the engine bay?

I cleaned the egr valve today and there was always that sound but after I reinstalled it today the sound has disappeared but the car runs fine and no engine management light etc.

Good job, I just have a question, do you have to replace the gasket when taking apart?

Not really mate if the gaskets are broken then yes if not then I would not bother. Shabz do you get that sound I asked about in your car?

I dont have that on mine Waj, if you want we can run them side by sides and compare if it presents a problem your worried about.

andy, thanks for your help and hospitatlity, appreciate it mate but your confirmation is fine, thats all i needed probably there was something loose before but its not presenting a problem so its all cool
