Exol Oil Optima VIMAX (M344) vs Optima LSH (M421)

Hi there,

Just looking for some advice. I'm considering one of the above but not sure which I should be purchasing, for a 2007 CTDI.

There is a difference in price between both oils and both are 0 - 30. Looking at the facts and figures seems like one is C2 low SAPS (M421) for cars with DPF. Is it worth purchasing the more expensive oil (M421), does it provide better protection ? and is 8k a good oil service interval, as I mainly do motorway miles and they do clock up!

used the" normal" one in my 7th gen diesel 200,000 miles ran like a swiss watch, changed every 6,000, and a new filter every 12,000. No worries at all, it's good stuff, the low saps in your engine would be wasted money.

Now running an 8th gen diesel tourer and will be using the Low saps, with same regime, Exol of course.

Thanks, so you didn't change the oil filter when you did the 6k oil change ? I was thinking of doing the oil and filter at 8k intervals. Is there anywhere you can get the 25ltr tub, ebay only seems to sell the 20ltr ones now ?

Give them a ring tell them you are from here they will discount for you. re the oil regime, 6.000 oil. 12,000 oil and filter. Only in 20 litres now I think. There is an add on the main page.
