it seems to be all working apart from when i answer a call it mutes all the speakers bar the bass speaker in the boot ??

anyone got any ideas ??

Hi Mate

Use the search facility as i'm pretty sure there is a good writeup on here somewhere about Parrot kit and installation.
***uming your car has a built in amplifier I think you are not by passing that.
However have a search and have aread of the thread.

i had this exact problem last weekend,

did you get the sot-047 harness?

if you did, you should have found there was a rather long, fleshy pink wire with a single socket crimp on the end.

this little socket needs to go in to the back of you HU. If you pull the HU out and look down the back (top down) you will find a din type connector in the back of the HU at the base.
disconnect this and there should be 3 or 4 spare holes in the connector. it needs to be plugged in the 4th one in from the left. ( there is a good picture guide on here)

make sure you push this little socket in as far as you can. i used a very small drill bit to push the socket crimp in far enough to see it at the other side of the connector.

if this doesnt make good contact, your parrot kit wont mute the rear speakers and the front tweeters.

thanks for that .. my problem was that the last keeper had a parrot ck3100 and didnt bother to use a sot lead . and jus chopeed and crimped wires !! its a right mess ... my auto -elecy mate is going to fix the wiring and gona buy the sot-047 lead and fix it. jus wanted some feedback as to why it hadnt muted the rear sub speaker !! thanks guys

I think you might of partly answered your own question. Sounds your wiring is a mess to begin with.
