Front Underside Bolts

Hi again,

Made the mistake of looking under the front of car this afternoon only the discovery most of the bolts that underpin
the plastic under engine covers were missing. I attempted to replace the bolts from my back of my garage...

After several attempts I couldn't establish the correct size of the bolts..anyone any ideas before I have to phone Honda?

I bought those clips and they fitted perfectly in mine B). I guess there were only two holes that I was not able to fit one of those clips, they were too large. I also used them to fix the top part of the font bumper as some of them were broken.

I have some of these clips which are normally used to attach the under plastics on the wing.

The ones I'm after are actual bolts..I tried the ones I had without success.

I'll probably have to go to a scrappers.

not sure of the exact size of the bolts buddy but i know what you mean. they should be 10mm headed but width will be roughly 6mm. doubt they will be too expensive from a honda parts dept. give em a bell.

Are the bolts actually missing or have the heads sheared off after seizing up? Sorry, not meaning to sound pessimistic, I just have a lot of experience of the 'road crud effect' on such fixings...

Hi,

They were missing, someone 's obviously had the plastics off or drooped down, maybe to change oil filter or what...

Had a look in the scrappers today, some are held on with large spire nuts...others I'm still lost on....managed to do a bodged fix...
As I said previously, I seemed to have tried all the obvious sizes without success...normally I can cobble something
but will have to give Honda a bell....
