The last time I took a wheel off, the Honda locking wheel nuts were so badly rusted I struggled to get the keyed socket on...
A couple of minutes later having had a good going over with the wire brush attachment on the drill, and a wiping down with copper grease to give a bit of protection..
Good as new! Not the most complicated of DIY jobs, but good result. These wheel nuts are mostly stainless steel, but the collar is mild steel and rusts spoiling the appearance, and when really bad like mine were, can stop the socket going on. A couple minutes worth of electric drill and wire brush brought them back to good as new, for now anyway. Give a coating of copper grease to slow down the rusting.
