Honda using 10w 40 oil?

Hi all, just had my service at honda Cheshire oaks, I had an oil and brake fluid change, on the receipt it said that they used g8 10w-40 oil, as I recall I'm sure they use to use 0w-30? I didn't ask the ***istant at the time, but do you's think I will be ok with this oil?
I have the 2 litre petrol (k20z2)

i only ever use 5w30, I dont see why it would not do your car, its what I got in my is250 and what I used in my k24 before that.

10w-40 is fine for petrol engines.

Yeh hopefully should be fine for our climate, the engine does sound slightly different now when I rev, like a whine sound, but very quite only I can notice it, il probably do another oil change after 6k but use the honda 0w oil next time, cheers guys
