Hi guys. Thinking of embarking upon removing and cleaning the IACV and TB after reading a few posts on this site. However i cannot find anything about replacing the gaskets upon reassembly. Is it a case of going to your local friendly Honda dealership or does anyone know of another source?
I think they are a Honda only part, the TB gasket is about £8 & the IACV is about £5 if I remember correctly.
If you have never had the TB off before it is unlikely that the paper gasket will come off in one piece. Mine had miraculously welded itself to the TB and was a right pain to remove.
For the gasket(s) your best bet will be a call to Holdcroft Honda mate. While you're under there you might as well do the EGR plate and valve too. And the bonus of this is that you won't need any new gaskets. B)
