manifold downpipe

There are a few people on here (3 i think) that have aftermarket Manis and downpipe for the 6th gen, can't tell you the name of the products they've got though. Sorry.
Have to say i'm a little dubious about the "at least 10BHP once fitted to your car" over standard from the F18 or F20 engine. Maybe coupled to a de-cat, but even then i think it's a little bit far fetched to expect that kind of gain. Especially when they're only asking £190 for the lot. But then again ,maybe i'm wrong and this could be the bargin of the century.
Would be VERY interested in seeing a before and after dyno.

Sorry to rain on the parade guys but just to say some people have had problems with their 02 sensors on the 2 L after fitting these - they MIL lights came on and they had to put the OEM manifold back.
It's not an issue with the 1.8 as the sensor is just in front of the cat.
Obviously I don't know whether or not that would be a problem with this particular pipe though.

Can anyone confirm if this Japspeed unit fits the F18B2? Going on the photo on their website and comparing my exhaust, the bolt pattern on the flange that bolts to the cat looks inverted 180 degrees. There is 3 bolts; on mine there is 2 on the side of the hanging bracket and 1 on other side, and on the Japspeed unit it's the other way round.

I'm not trying to be negative (i promise i'm not even though it sounds like i am as it's hard to convey 'tone of voice' on a forum or through text), but i still fail to understand whay anyone whould want to 'upgrade' the mani on the F18 or F20 engines? If yours is failing then it's probably bet to buy one from a scrappies or someone breaking the same car you have.

You could say that about any car to be honest though mate. People buy Nissan GTRs then spend another few grand replacing a perfectly well engineered exhaust system. Each to their own.
Personally my reasons are for looks, sound, and knowing that ill never need buy another manifold again. It's the original one on the car and it's falling to bits.

IIRC Lana (a member on here a while ago) bought one, and it was from Janspeed and it wouldn't fit.
As you've stated the whole fixing point section is the wrong way round. Give me a couple of days and i'll make a few calls and find out which aftermarket mani will fit he F18B2. Mark, is your car a pre or post facelift model mate?

Just spoke to one of my mates, and the F20B3 manifold will fit your car if you were looking for a more 'standard' upgrade.
I'll keep looking for an aftermarket one for you F18 dude.

Thanks for all your help mate. Mines a 2002 on a 52 plate if that helps.

And the zorst I'm looking at is from Japspeed not Janspeed.
I've seen that other thread before and the problem is the same but there is no confirmation if he bought it and whether it fitted.
