If anyone misfuels their 8th gen, no need to scrabble around under it, just unclip the back seat base (2 push clips at the front, hidden under the cover, one bolt in the middle at the back, under the backrest) and then remove the metal hatch and guage sender and you are then in the tank and can pump/siphon the fuel out into containers. Then refuel with the correct fuel, also change the diesel fuel filter.

Good point about the filter here's my how too on replacing it : http://typeaccord.co.uk/forum/topic/12971-accord-idtec-fuel-filter-replacementpart-1/page__p__144591__fromsearch__1#entry144591

Just to point out if you happen to realize your putting petrol in 15-20L max :( or you've even driven off  just brim with premium diesel all should be fine, don't hold me to it though :p I've recused a few weasels that wont start due to miss-fueling and 50/50 mix has been ok and they started eventually  obviously the best option is follow richsprint's advice :)
