Hi all, Peter here from Newcastle upon Tyne, back into Honda ownership after five years with a Mondeo. My first Accord was back in 2000 when I owned a 1997 1.8 which was superb, then a 2001 CR-V auto, which was superb, then a 2000 Prelude 2.0 Auto which was even more superb! Only got rid because my late father was 90 at the time and really struggled in and out of it for his weekly trip out with me. Have owned a 2009 2.2EX D Tourer for a few months which hasn't been quite so superb as the previous ones but still feels like a step up from the Mondeo. It has a problem that has me scratching my head, i'll make a post later with details. I also own a 1982 Ford Cortina and a couple of motorcycles so am not afraid to get my hands dirty although my knowledge is more geared to carburettor era technology!
