The manual for my 8th Gen 2.0L requires IZFR6K11NS but I can only find IZFR6K11S online which are available in the UK (and a few fake NGK spark plugs as well).

I have researched the difference and understand that IZFR6K11NS is a non-resistor plug while IZFR6K11S is a resistor plug.

My understanding:
  1. Resistor plugs reduce interference with electronics on the car by resisting some of the electricity passing through the spark plug.
  2. Non-resistor spark plugs are known to have a stronger spark as the electricity is not resisted by a resistor.
  3. If my car uses a non-resistor plug then the car's electronics can deal with the interference.
Based on my understanding, I would expect my car can use a resistor plug. However, my concern is that the reduced spark strength may have adverse effects.

Question: does the use of a resistor over a non-resistor plug effect performance for this model of car?

Thanks
