I've been having a read through the threads on the OBD2 readers and am considering getting one and using it with the Android Torque app to see what sort of info is available from the car and to see if it is throwing an error with the egr or iac valve as my car has started stalling again at junctions.

I am considering this one - amazon.co.uk/Bluetooth-Diagnostic-Scanner-Engine-READER/dp/B004KL0I9I/ref=pd_cp_auto_0 - I don't know how to post links from mobile.

Has anyone used one in a 6th gen? Is it possible to relocate the OBD2 port so I can leave the reader in without it sticking into the passenger foot well?

Cheers,
Colin

Those readers are all much of a muchness and should be fine. I have one in the van and one in the Honda both work well.

I have a power reader witch is a old wired style and works great on the honda by displaying the fault code. this looks like the new kit
so to answer your Q1 yes works on hondas

the OBD port is cliped into a metal bracket and should press out by using a flat head screw driver at the clip end.

i would think there would be enough room to hide the scanner away :D

Good luck and let us no how you get on!
