Optimistic Fuel Guage

One of the niggles I found with my Accord coupe is that the fuel guage wont go any more empty than 1/4 full.

It fills ok, but on driving it wont go lower than 1/4.

I have topped it up on the 1/4 point so far, but was wondering if it would be a straightforward fix? Or does the fuel tank need to come out? I ***ume it is the float?
On Peugeots and Citroens it is usually a case of going under the back seat to get at the pump/float.

it will be the fuel sender unit. Should be fairly straight forward to fix.

I ***ume that there is no haynes manual for the coupe?

Bit like the GTV, I downloaded a manufacturers workshop manual for that, will have to have a look and see if Honda produced one, even from US ebay.
