P0335 Crankshaft position sensor A malfunction

My Accord diesel 2004 has been running very poorly. Average mpg dropped to 30 mpg. In 1st and 2nd gear i feel like the car has no power to move off quickly. Found the error code P0335. Has anyone got any experience relating to this?
