Hi

I have a 2005 Accord I-CTDi and have the usual rear camber problem. Fed up with changing the tyres because of wear dispite the adjustment "being wihin the parameters"

I read on the old site somewhere that there were some after market adjustable arms for the Accord but can't seem to find it now. I think Alnug wrote the artical but can't be sure.

Can anyone point me in the right direction and also if you can offer any advice as to wher I can get them and are there various manufacturers out there for these arms.

Any help would be appreciated

If you do read this Alnug, the manual you sold me on disc has been really helpful thanks but nothing on it about the engine. Do you know where I can get a manual for the actual diesel engine?

Regards

for an quick solution ***uming the tyres are too worn on one side is to flip the the tyres, take right rear tyre off and put it on the left etc this will mean the inside edge will be on the ouside now etc. a garage or tyre place should do this for a very small amount of penny's and you get more life out of tyres until you fix the camber issue.

This is the type of thing you need to solve the problem in the long term

i had mega rear camber issues after i lowered the accord. got some adjustable eibach rear camber arms on and gave it a four wheel alignment and hopefully thats it sorted.
got the arms from DC Dezign, great service and reasonably priced too

Hi Guys

Sorry for not getting back before now but have had tech probs with my Internet Supplier.

Thanks for your response.

So! what is the general consensus for the best adjustable rear arms in terms of reliability and not breaking the bank then.

I went over an enormous pothole the other day and now find that I have a slight wobble on the nearside front at low speeds. I have had the car checked but they found nothing???? someone suggested that it might be the drive shaft so I will have that checked and get the local council to pay if there is a problem. Has anyone replaced the driveshaft on an I-CTDi and if so how much of a job is it. I have been looking at the repair manual and it does seem a bit of a job.

Regards

Im running SPC camber adjusters at the rear sourced through: http://www.balancemotorsport.co.uk/
Find it through the suspension menu / top mounts and alignment / SPC
The part number is 67290K in the drop down menu priced at £154

quite reasonably priced, been on for just under 2 years now with no issues.

Hi govtec

Just called and spoke with one of the guys at the suppliers. Very helpful and they look good for the job. Have just ordered a set so can't wait to fit them. I bet it takes longer than the half hour they say though!!

Thanks for your help

regards

I'm interested in a camber kit (rear and front, also) but I want them both (fron and rear) to be manufactured by the same company.
How are this SPC , where are this manufacured ? I'm asking about SPC because I know they have front (ball joint) and rear camber kit .
Also Eibach I think have a kit (front and rear also), not sure if theirs front camber kit is ball joint but as I'm aware they have TUV aproval.
I'm not sure if it matters or not (being ball joint)

[LE] I've found the Eiabch front camber kit is ball joint also :

^^ Dinu im not to sure about the TUV compliance part but my SPC camber adjusters were delivered in Eibach branded boxes so they maybe one and the same or SPC supply Eibach?? this is the SPC homepage http://www.spcperformance.com/ i think it is a US company. Searching for the parts will bring up a picture of the components for comparison to the eibach stuff you have found

Funny, it doesn't surprise me too much :) I saw the very same suspension (for another car) sold by Eibach and KW, and same H&R suspension sold by Bilstein (rebranded) :)

Usually I'm attracted by parts which have TUV, so if Eibach have TUV, that will be my choice .

PS> is the Spoon filter reusable, like K&N filters are? if yes what cleaning stuff are you using for it ?
