Took the car in for the airbag recall.was told some windscreen trim needed replacing and the parts needed to be ordered.I was given an appointment after three weeks.What I wanted to know is which trims are these. The only ones I can think of are on the sides colour coded and seem to be loose. The car was with them for about 8 hours.Had to get my brother to collect the car as I was at work.Anyway iv inspected the car and the trims which I ***ume needed changing hasnt been done.Anyone know if those are the trims that should have been replaced .cheers
 
Lots of reports re the trims, the shaped bits coming from the roof line to the bonnet line, apparently wrong adhesive used, and clips breaking. They may have recycled yours, are they still loose?
 
Looks like they haven't even touched them.both side loose from the top.rang them this morning and was told they would ring back ASAP. Waited 3 hours,rang back to be told staff are busy and they lost my details.gave them details again and am waiting for a reply.Bham colliers Honda.very poor service.Maybe because it's free service they are not taking much interest.
 
So after another call I requested to speak to the manager, who informed me that the technition did not tell her the job was not done.She is saying maybe the new parts were distorted or damaged.If that was the case then they should have informed me.She has now booked the car again for next week.

i hate dealers - i always try to avoid them at all costs - lol

Its a shame the Honda specialist independent garages dont fulfil the recall work
 
I also have the airbag recall and had the windscreen trims recall last year or year before that.
