It is great to see that the site has been re-incarnated as the old site was a very useful font of knowledge.

I was just wondering if anyone could provide any pointers on how to get the boot trim panel off a Accord 98 - 02 hatchback?

I have managed to pop a handful of the clips from by the lock area but can't seem to release anything from near the hinges - I don't want to pull too hard and break something.

I need to get at the motor for the central locking and check the wiring as the boot has stopped locking and this in turn has stopped the rest of the car's deadlocks from working.

Any ***istance would be gratefully received!

Cheers,
Colin

Although I cant answer your question, I have the same problem.

If you figure it out (even without the help of any forum members) would you be kind enough to post so I can have a go? I dont even know where the central locking motor is...

If it's just the trim you want off, alll you need to do is remove the black clips, then pull the lining, starting at the rear light cluster.

When putting it back in, you just start from the back.
