Retreiving a satnav dvd

Hi all.
Unknown to me at the time one of my grandchildren (the little darling) removed my satnav dvd from the player and posted it through the very narrow gap at the top of the dvd player. The said disc as now somewhere in the centre console behind the dvd player. Is it a relatively easy job to get the dvd player out and get the disc back?
