Long time no post.
Have got the gremlins in the aux belt pulleys ('54 Accord Tourer cdti). Rattle can be heard for 30 secs, but only from a cold start.
Searching around highlighted the overloading problem of the original long belt, so I changed to the shorter version & removed the idler pulley.
With the belt off, the tensioner pulley was the only one that felt notchy.
So, does anybody know the size/type of bearing fitted within the tensioner pulley? I don't see the point in buying a complete unit when only the bearing is failing.

Quick update:-
-replaced bearing in tensioner pulley. Didn't fix the rattle.
-bought & fitted new alternator pulley. Rattle gone plus car does feel quieter all round, so all is good. Cleaned out alternator & checked bearings whilst in there, just in case.

Hi Andrew,
Believe the bearing I bought for the tensioner pulley was:-
6303 DDU NSK Deep Groove Bearing 17x47x14mm
~£7
