Suspension overhaul...recommendations

I have 06 2.2 Ex ictdi which touched 100K last week.

I think suspension is on its way as when I go over speed bump, I can hear squeaky noise perhaps coming from the shocks.

Few questions;
1- What are the signs of worn suspension?
2- Has anybody changed the suspension at / around 100K?
3- Is it worth of changing it if intended to keep the car for another year / 20K miles?
4- IF I go for complete suspension overhaul, I would like to lower it as I do not like 4X4 arches space.
5- Any other comments /Recommendations?
6- Any recommendations re: front brake / disc setup?

If it wanders over white lines and follows lorry ruts, you probably need to look at it.
Same goes for if it creaks over speed humps or when you're parking.

otherwise if it ain't broke, don't fix it.

35mm lowering springs are the norm. Mine has Apex springs on stock shocks and rides OK, but nothing to write home about.

I'm just running cheapo pagid discs and pads, and they're perfectly acceptable for road use.
Having fresh fluid and a well bled system is always the first port of call.
