Vsa light

Hi my vsa light came on last night on start up so read up on here when got home and seems quote common , mine is a diesel tourer unfortunately i have high milege so am not in the exstended warranty I have breakdown warranty with aa whitch covers the first £500 of a repair . Now i know from reading up on the vsa light last night honda will want £1500 to do this .
What do you guys think i should do should i call the aa out to read the code or take it straight to honda/

if it was me and iv been there get the code 1st.
At least then you no exactly what to expecte

Hi there,

I'm pretty sure that in order to make a claim under AA Breakdown Repair Cover a patrol needs to have attended first - I'd check the small print to be sure.

Yes you have to call them out to make a claim , anybody drove with the vsa light on for any amount of time , is it a must fix or can you live without it

I drove mine with the lights on for about 2 weeks with no discernable difference until it was repaired.
I suspect the VSA and anti lock brakes may not have been operational, but these are not systems that I would use in normal driving
