Wrong wheels?

Well I've not had my car long as u lot may know but I think I've been had over by the guy I bought my car off! The question is does the executive model on a 54 plate have 16 or 17 inch wheels? Mine currently has 16s on but on the tyre pressure sticker it says 225 45 17 and the ones on the car are 205 55 16!? He did mention that he had bought a diesel one to replace his petrol I think he has put the 17s on his new cur quite gutted

The facelift has 17's...not 100% on the pre though.

Interestingly (or not) my sticker is also for 16's though.

Afaik, all execs were on 16's and only the facelift GT Sport and Type S models had 17's as standard. If you upgrade to oem 17's you get stickers to replace the original ones

Dan you should swap wheels then you'll both have the right stickers and not get confused!

Lol at the above! Would be a cheap correction where should I start looking for oem wheels they don't turn up verry offen on ebay, if they do they are quite dear cheers lads

look in the sale section bud,alnug is selling his type-s ones,and they are mint!!!!!i remember he replaced the type-s ones with other ones soon after he got the car,and look perfect...

Baz is right on this one. The pre-facelifts had 16s as standard. 17s were an optional extra. Does look like he's swapped the wheels onto his new car, which is annoying but at least you get the newer wheels. His old 17s are probably crusty and in need of a refurb
