I have an issue with the aircon on the wife's Accord i-CTDI 2006

I've had the gas checked but its seems that the compressor / condensor is not kicking in. Is there a sensor or something that controls this?

Also, anyone know of any good independent garages that can service the i-CTDI?

Just got mine fixed, a pressure sensor at the buttom of the condenser ( visible through lower vent hole below registration plate ).

My garage bypassed it to send a signal voltage to the ECU and thats how they isolated the problem.

Maybe you've got a dodgy relay...maybe is the sensor as with mine.

You might have to get an autoelectrician or A/C specialist to run a diagnostic on the electrics.

ive got the same problem but its the clutch part of the ac system, gonna cost £480 to put right.......!!!!!

i think ill just use the windows

yeah i was crossing my fingers that it would be the pressure sensor but HH told me the clutch has gone.....
