Just noticedmy aircon makes a hissing sound when switched on. Then goes on and off presumably when compressor kicks in. Is this normal as did not notice in the summer. Thanks in advance

You're low on A/C gas, get it refilled.

Thanks for the replies when i bought the car the garage replaced the condenser but left the o rings out so lost all liquidthey supposed to have fixed it so must have a leak if compressor ok. It was a jag specialist so they prob used to doing bodged jobs.
