Face lift Accords

Hi guys,

Does anyone know if all face lift Accords were 2006 cars? Did some 2006 cars get sold as a pre-facelift? Or even some 2005 cars get the facelift treatment?

There's nothing to stop a facelift 7th gen being registered in 2005, should it have been available for sale, and vice versa the prefacelift, if it's sitting in a show room and it hasn't sold or gone onto being demo'd, it can be registered as late a you like effectively.

I have seen 7th gen accords registered in 2010 over here, also I've seen a 2004 registered Civic (ek4 Jap import 98 model) too!!

Ok thank you. I was interested in fitting some roof rails, but the owner didn't know if it was a face lift model or not. I read on here that the facelift roof rails don't fit the preface lift roofs.

Is it the tourer you're looking at then? They could be diffrerent alright, I wouldn't know tbh

Sorry yes the accord tourer. I have a 2004 tourer but I was offered some roof rails off a 2006 tourer. Its just I read the face lift rails don't fit the pre face lift so wanted to check what year was definitely face lift.
