Hi

I am needing to replace my front discs as they are below the permitted thickness. I know that I can go to a stealership and pay an arm and leg so think I will buy quality after market.

Has anyone got any suggestions as to what manufacturer is the best to go for for OE parts. I have been thinking of Bosch but cannot find anywhere t guy them plus the fact that I understand that they do not actually manufacture the discs themselves. I want a disc that is not going to warp and be totally balanced from the outset. Please don't anyone say Mr Auto. They have left a nasty taste in my mouth.

Any help would be appreciated.

I suggest Pagid... EuroCarParts and carparts4less sell them, often with good discounts. I think the current ECP promo is 'service30'.
 
Why not order some OEM discs from Holdcroft Honda? Honda parts are very good quality and guaranteed to fit, I'll be needing a set soon and thats where i'll be getting them from.

Any idea how the price compares? Or do you only ever buy spares from Honda?
 
I've got Pagid discs/pads all round on mine. Decent enough had no problems

Honda wanted an arm and a leg (£500 discs/pads all round fitted) Just under £300 for Pagid fitted with a fluid change
 
Last time I checked, which was a few months ago, holdcroft quoted me £157 for front discs & pads.

Pretty good for a dealer. But then HH often are.

Off topic, but are you the same Wilderman with the troublesome MR2 on MR2ROC? (I'm the same Jon_G)

Im pretty sure you need a discount code but it might be worth calling them and see what they say
