sat nav map of malta

Hi all!

I live in Malta and was wondering if there is a sat nav map of Malta for the accord 7th gen...I can see the Maltese islands on the screen but not the streets.

You'll be quite surpriced how manny accord are on this small island and there are loads of Civics here! so it is not that small of a market for Honda here in Malta!

Another One here ........ actualy i agree with Michael. Quite a few Accords around :lol:
 
Population Malta - 420,000.

Population UK - 62,000,000 - 61,215 7th & 8th Gens in circulation at the moment.

Population of EU - 500,000,000.


Type "how many Honda accords sold in Malta" and this thread is third on the list ;).

Would be interesting to know how many 7th Gens were sold in Malta in total.

This of course ignores the other Honda cars that use the same Sat Nav system.

Ohh come on guys...stop picking on me!! lol...I know Malta is a small island, but Garmin and Tom TOm have our maps!!!!...what if you should decide to come to Malta overland with your ACCORD and have no map to take you around??? Hehehe!
 
I would delight in seeing more of your beautiful country once again :lol:

Hi, has anyone sorted this issue yet?I sent an email to Navteq but no answer yet. I also hear there is a compatible map to our system, any body heard or seen this yet?
 
nope no maps for malta, best you can do is replace the screen with a tablet, use a gps. but dunno if it is possible due to the ac settings etc :S

Why do you think they have your streets? It's like 7 streets and an airport :p
 
navteq has the maltese roads, if you get navigon on your android you can download the map of Malta.(it also includes gozo) dunno why they didnt put them on honda maps :S
 
Hi Guys.

I am from Malta aswell and have Accord 7th Gen.
I have contacted Navteq as before I was buying the Latest Maps from them way back in 2013 and they promised they will back as soon as have the news regarding Malta maps.
They said it was something with rights to pay.
I bought the maps and still to date haven't replied to me yet. And the maps aren't cheap I bought them 230 GBP.

They still don't have it.
Now I have an ipad with GPS and use it locally.
