8th generation number plate light?

Hi,
Does anyone know how different the 7th and 8th gen numberplate light units are on the saloon? I've found somewhere that does an 8th gen reversing camera, which replaces the numberplate unit, but I have a 7th gen!
Suppose I could by an 8th gen but don't have enough money in the bank lol!

They are the same type of light units from memory.Also the stock camera on the 8th gen is not part of the number plate light it is totally separate.

Alex iv checked lings and the 2 look the same but are different part numbers.Have a look at the link you can compare this with a 2010 accord and see what i mean.

They look almost the same but there looks to be a very slight difference.As i said when i changed the bulbs for LEDS they looked the same.If you buy the camera can you send it back if different or ask the seller if there the same.
Also Jav has done this mod so might be able to give you a link with a 7th gen camera give him a PM.

Thanks for the quick replies. I've just ordered the camera so now need to wait a few weeks before fitting it, although I'll probably fit the cable for it so it's less of a job when it arrives.
