How to clean Idle Air Control Valve

Just found this as I want to remove my IAC valve and give it a good clean and last time I couldn't figure put how to disconnect it fully.

It's based on the US model but in all fairness the pictures look just like it did when I tried a few months ago.

I did it a few months ago but I didn't manage to remove the valve fully, I couldn't disconnect a couple of the hoses /lost my nerve disconnecting so many hoses so I cleaned it as best I could with it still in the engine bay.

The car is just starting to hesitate again so this time round I will make sure I get it out of the engine bay so that I can clean it through properly and see if I can test it's continuity / resistance to make site it is working properly.

I'll also clean the throttle body as best I can while I'm at it. I need to get a replacement gasket for it so HH will be getting a call tomorrow.
