Hi can anyone confirm where the fuse is for the stereo system. The new owner of the car has had the stereo stop working after the main starter battery was replaced. Location 17 and 18 are both listed as acssesory. Anything else it could possibly be?

No I chose to butcher the existing lights and painted the orange reflector black using aluminium tape to stop light bleed and added a round lense like so:

Just be aware when I changed mine I had issues as the second hand replacement didn't fit straight on. On my 08 plate the bar was as pictured the 2 plated areas pointed to were you bolt on are flat. On the replacement the plates had a curved edge that caused issues and needed areas grinding down...

As said above from what I've read I would be replacing it with a known working item from a breaker.

My first call would be to replace all speakers. As said some half decent 2 ways up front to go with the new rears should make a world of difference. The standard audio kit is 20 year old tech that's also been used for 20 years.

I used a heat gun, a trick I learned afterwards is use a card board box bigger than the lights, cut a hole in the side big enough to insert the heat gun and you have a makeshift oven without upsetting her in doors. Obviously make sure heat isnt aimed directly at one point on the lights.

I used butyl sealant I got from the guys fitting a new roof at work but from what I've read its basically the same as what's used in sealing lights.

I had dpf issues with mine, had an aftermarket dpf that wasn't very old and was knackered. If you want to keep a dpf (expensive and not the choice I made) Honda is only place I would buy one from.

The later cars come with slightly different headlights. I'm guessing that was to accommodate this? On earlier cars like mine there was an orange indicator lense cover which also changed to clear. Hopefully someone with a later car can give the necessary information?
