As an update to this even when I use the key the driver side rear passenger door doesn't unlock. I have to manually press the button on the handle from the inside.
I'm thinking this could be the issue. Also the boot doesn't open until I press the same passenger button.

After my initial DPF woes (which was eventually replaced under warranty) I'm 14 months into the ownership of my 09 tourer and now have the above issue.
It's not the remote - I've tried both.
Basically it fails to lock and unlock with ever increasing regularity.

New dpf is in and hopefully I can get on with enjoying the vehicle.
Also had it serviced whilst it was in and new brake pads all round (they matched Halfords price on those).
Now the dpf is in I wonder if it will make a difference to my consumption?
I can only get 35mpg driving like an old...
The Accord was recovered to my local dealer yesterday and I'm picking up a courtesy vehicle this morning.
No prizes for guessing why...

I have 6 months or so warranty left so am not too concerned at this stage...
Having recently bought a car with problems and gone through hassle even though under warranty I would say steer clear of this one.
Mine developed a fault within days but if had shown any signs before purchase I'd have swerved it or asked the dealer to investigate and fix before buying...
Hi - after further dialogue they have agreed to fix DPF problem under warranty.
The clean was a different procedure to a regen. They are obviously trying to do it on the cheap...
But it will cost them more in the end this way.
