Hi, I'm getting 14.09v across the battery. I cleaned the battery terminals and the earth and the symptoms have improved. The needles still spike but not as often (almost like a pulse every 5 seconds). The door open warning doesn't stay on constantly anymore either.

The wheel I bought as a replacement is going back to the tyre shop to be refitted/checked. Hopefully it's ok but was considering worst case scenario. May buy some civic type r alloys if it is damaged as I've always fancied them on my accord. Cheers for the replies

Sorry for the late response. Today I swapped the bulb in the map light into the roof light... and it works.... works perfectly and consistently!! The only thing I can figure is the map light bulb is 8v and the replacement bulb I purchased is 10v. There's no other difference. Where can I buy...
