Must be a faulty device then. I plugged mines when the car is off, I have one currently on my Accord cdti sports. I press CD/Aux to change from usb/aux to cd. If I leave it on usb, switch the car or radio off, the music continues to play from where i left off.

Hello Umair, sorry to hear about your accident. Hope no one was hurt. That damage i would class as minor. Easy repair, therefore i would buy the car back from the insurance. If you have hands on knowledge, all you need to do is replace to door and bumper. Otherwise body shop would charge...

Did you buy secondhand, new or refurbished?

Check the wires on the door hinge, remove the rubber boot and look for damaged wire

You'll have to change the loom. Best option would be to get creative.
