I fitted an OEM spoiler to my accord with built in LED brake light... so I disconnect the one on the rear shelf and used that to power the spoiler one instead. :)
It was a bugger to get out, hadn't melted or anything it's just in there really tightly.
Car sickness is more related to not being able to see where you are going for me... I don;t suffer at all in the front but stick me in the back on a long trip and I'll get a little queasy after 30 mins or so.
As for selling... hard to put a price on a car without seeing it's condition. I sold...
As for the reusable side of things... they simply need to be dried out every now and again. How often depends on how much moisture they absorb. I keep a spare handy in the house... so all I do is take one out of the car as soon as I notice any condensation on the glass and pop it on a radiator...
Sorry, not been around for weeks... Those are the type I meant but you can find them cheaper. I picked up two 1kg bags for about £12 and I then picked up another after I thought I'd lost one (eventually found it). So now I keep one on the rear parcelk shelf and one that I can throw up on the...
if you are having an issue with condensation in the car, get yourself a couple of dehumidifier bags. A couple of 1kg ones will suffice, leave one on the dash when you park up and swap them over every week. That cures the issue and also helps with condensation on the CD and DVD player lens which...
Do you have cover on your house insurance?
I've got cover for all locks/keys on my house insurance plus I paid an extra £18 to cover my keys through my car insurance... I've got a little RFID tag on my keys that offers a reward if returned and my insurance will cover the cost of replacing all...
I've replaced this on both Accords I've owned and never paid more than about £25 for each one. It's never been an issue and the fitment has been perfect. The 1st time I had it done and it hadn't failed when I sold the car 2.5yrs later... the second car was only done a couple of...
Whatever oil you choose to use... just make sure it's a low SAPS one, don't go for semi only fully synthetic and stick to a well know brand and you'll be fine. Personally I use Total 0w30 low saps fully synth as I've been able to get 7lts of that for less than £50 which does a complete oil...
Does anyone know where I can find the relay for the indicators... I'm going to finish of converting all of the lights to LED and because of the isses fitting the rear ones (the ones that avoid the hyper flashing are too large for the rear) I'm going to replace the relay with one that dopes the...
Also... I have the new car... it's identical to the old one in colour and spec. But it's a year newer and has 26k fewer miles on it... and it was cheaper than what I paid for the other one. Previous owner was a bit of an enthusiast too, having owned a few Hondas over the years and current has a...

The car was abandoned a couple hundred yards up the road and missing a a wheel. A claim is in with the motor insurance bureau and so far they are covering the cost of the hire car I have (had that for almost 4 weeks now) as my insurance are being really feecking...
RIP new project
On the 18th Aug a drunk, uninsured driver decided to crash into 3 cars when I was visiting my mum in Milton Keynes... The Cucking Funt also did a runner.
End result, my car is toast... after all that work and all that money. He hit the wheel, pushed it back into the wing/door &...
Take a look on autotrader and compare prices with other private sellers that have similar miles on them... or take the dealer price and adjust for the 20-30% extra they tack on top... I've seen dealers trying to charge £4k for a 57 EX tourer when you can get a 09/59 plate 8th gen EX spec for the...
Another week, another update... Car is booked in for the power steering pipe on Thursday, and I sold the Tourer over the weekend... So towards the end of the month I can think about getting the last bit of paint work sorted.
