Recaro Seats from Accord Type R in 7th Gen Accord?

I think the airbag issue is not the major problem here...its the bolt holes not aligning? I know the CL7/9 has different seat rails to the Accord Type-R...have you tried test fitting to see if the bolt holes are anywhere close to lining up? I highly doubt seat airbags are even a noticable item...

    Straight thru exhaust midpipe CL9

hmm interesting, thanks for the reference to lings...so looks like the OEM pipe would need to be cut before the y split and then somehow joined onto this pipe...i guess the idea behind this is to 'slip join' or weld the cut pipe pre-backboxes to this new pipe. If this did slip fit then this...

    Straight thru exhaust midpipe CL9

its a mid pipe, it will join before the y split to the backboxes i believe...so should fit both a CL7 and CL9 (***uming the route only differs from where this midpipe ends)

    Straight thru exhaust midpipe CL9

Hi Accord modders, I just stumbled across a German ebay seller who is selling a FOX branded exhaust midpipe for the CL9...has anyone heard of this manufacturer or know if this is a direct fit? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/351077276093?_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT I...

It is silly to buy a 13 year old type s?

looks in good nick but tbh, honda engines are pretty solid tho and if you are only looking to keep the car for a couple of years, i wouldn't worry too much about finding a low mileage one unless you are looking at trying to get some good money back when you resell it. You can pick up slightly...

Cl7 cold air intake , induction kit help

p.s. you dont really need the hydro shield if you are running the short ram as water wont get up that high into the engine bay (unless u take ur car off road regularly!) Or am i missing something? nice work on the welding btw.

    white wheels

I sprayed my penta's white if that helps. http://typeaccord.co.uk/forum/topic/18335-my-cl9-pre-facelift-type-s I had 16's before i put the 17" pentas on...the ride was much softer with the 16s, which when combined with the coilovers gave a floaty feeling which was not nice. Upgrading to 17s...

Accord Type R Caliper (will these fit)?

wow, these are a good deal if they are the dual piston calipers as shown, which should be the accord type-r calipers...! I'll be keeping an eye on these, let us know if you find out more info on them or order them!

A new sound to worry about

does it make the same sound when under strain (such as pulling away from a speedhump in 2nd gear)? If so, might be the cat heatshield.

    Lower arm bushing replacement

can you rotate the bolt? if not, sounds like the bolt has corroded itself to the bush? Keep cranking it with your breaker bar until it rotates...or are you saying it wont budge? if so try harder but that could result in shearing the head straight off the bolt leaving you possibly in a stickier...
