    Timing chain

Powering up a hill, clunky dunky clunk warning lights on engine dies cost down the hill to a safe place to pull over, no brakes no power steering. I recon bye bye engine

Would the engine be be damaged? Valves, pistons etc.

    Timing chain

All I suspect that the timing chain has snapped while is was driving. Is the 2.2 cdti engine an interference engine? Fault code is P0340. 222333 miles on the clock. Not sure what to do.

    2.2 i-ctdi 2007 Engine Oil Flush

Just jumping into this thread. My 2.2 cdti is just shy of 200K miles. Oil is changed every 6 months and I use the recommended 0W30 oil. Will the engine now perform better if I start using 5W30 oil?

    Throttle body

Yes it is a diesel. Just can’t understand why the acceleration is so bad. If the revs are at 2000 rpm and I accelerate with 100% throttle nothing happens, but if I take my foot of the accelerator and back to full throttle the car will accelerate as should. It seems though it is lacking something...

    Throttle body

I have been suffering with acceleration lag, no faults, live data for all sensors look good. The only one that I suspect not in range is the throttle body. When I accelerate the throttle body opens for a few seconds and then shuts while still accelerating. I have changed the IMRC sensor, but now...

    Vacuum suspect leak

I done a vacuum check on the car and found that the turbo actuator is not holding vacuum. The rest off the system is. How do I post a video so you can see what is happening.

    Vacuum suspect leak

To all Accord fans. I have been having issues with major turbo lag on a 2.2 cdti tourer. So I invested in a vacuum tester( I recommend you get on if you don’t have one). Anyway I checked all things vacuum and all tested ok except for the unit that is situated by the turbo, I would say that this...

Hi All, Has anybody bought service parts from Coxmotors? Are the genuine Honda parts? Thinking about getting the major service kit for my 2004 deisel Accord from them. Thanks

    manufacture specific codes

p1065 fuel pressure lower than expected (could be fuel filter) not sure what the rest are. I think that p1384 could be glow plug related and p16A1 is something to do with the ecu but not sure.
