Honda said the clutch plate cover was faulty and didn't sit right. If that's true or not I don't know. The just took my money and fitted a new one.
You've done well to fit the clutch yourself as as I keep hearing you need to use a special tool from Honda to do it properly. To be fare most...
I havnt read all these posts but there was one guy that had the same problem. He had a slipping clutch and after 3 attempts of the back street garage trying to fix it he took it to Honda to do and they just refitted the clutch using the honda pre tension tool and the slipping stopped.

My 8th gen accord, rear drivers side caliper seized on me and cost £320ish from Honda. I wasn't happy when I found out. I'm just hoping the crv doesnt suffer this too.
I'm not sure who your asking but I've done the revere camera trick by going into the service menu of the stereo and selecting the camera calibration.
I had to hold down 3 buttons on the stereo to bring it up. Back up. Menu and info I think. If you google it youll find it.
Did you you know the later 8th gens were more refined? Try and drive one and see if it feels any better.
On Hondakarma there's been quite a few people that have moved from 7th gen to 8th gen and all of them from what I can remember over the years prefer the 8th gen hands down. The only thing...
I had great mid/bass in my 8th gen and in my crv. I turned the sub off to test it which suprised me how deep they were. The crv was very bassy in the doors too but when I upgraded it wasnt as deep but it was a he'll of a lot more controlled and detailed. At £350 I'm glad they're better than...
Just buy some mdf spacer rings and make the focals fit. I had to do it for my vibe cven speakers as the basket wouldn't nt fit in the door. It's all sorted now and wasn't hard to do.
Jbl have great punchy mid bass but I prefered my focal cv2 speakers I had.
To keep all the audio stuff in one place I thought is post here as i did mine the weekend including the tweeters.
I think most Hondas have the same design where the grill actually comes out. I then put some leatherette over it to hide the cheap plastic.
The woofers needed a 15mm spacer I...
I'd just heard diesels need back pressure or something so I just presumed adding a cone filter or exhaust could result in torque loss. I've had no experience with it so I thought I'd ask. It's good to know it hasn't effected the power. The car certainly looks better with the twin pipes.
