Sourcing fog lamps for 2011 type S diesel 2.2 estate

I use parts honda to find part numbers. Here's the web page for 2011 Accord: https://www.parts-honda.uk/honda-cars/ACCORD/2011 Just pick your model and it will display a front bumper with all the parts that make it up. Find the part called "FOG LIGHT". They are separate for left and right side.

Making a 8th Gen Accord track ready

I'm planning on putting my 8th Gen Accord on track. Simple yet loaded question: excluding general preparations that all cars should go through (example), are there any 8th-gen-specific preparations to do / problems to know about?

    NGK IZFR6K11S vs IZFR6K11NS

Thanks I managed to find the current ones using the part number on their website. Obviously I didn't look hard enough!

    new Accord

Mine supports Bluetooth but only for handsfree (i.e. phone calls). Set it up with this guide: I have a Bluetooth device plugged into the aux which allows me to play music via Bluetooth from my phone to the car. Search "wireless aux" online for the device (I got mine from eBay). Make sure you...

    NGK IZFR6K11S vs IZFR6K11NS

The manual for my 8th Gen 2.0L requires IZFR6K11NS but I can only find IZFR6K11S online which are available in the UK (and a few fake NGK spark plugs as well). I have researched the difference and understand that IZFR6K11NS is a non-resistor plug while IZFR6K11S is a resistor plug. My...

Front bumper splitter droop / sag on CU1 ES-GT

Oh yeah, that is interesting. Good find! Especially because all of the spacers are not sticky anymore. Reading the doc, this means that the original double sided adhesive/tape must've gone. To fix it, I'll follow steps 4 to 10. This should secure everything in place and solve the problem as...

Front bumper splitter droop / sag on CU1 ES-GT

I've: done the repair: painting over the rubbed down paint added preventative measures: stuck foam where the splitter was rubbing against the paint It was also a pleasure to see that: Honda have done the same with foam protection stuck to the splitter but with denser foam the splitter is...

Water in spare wheel well (ES Tourer)

I had the same problem with my saloon. There was a (seemingly factory) hole at the bottom of the boot rubber seal in the middle. Sealed it with some silicone and it has remained dry since. Something to note is that it only got wet when the car was pointing up a slope.

Front bumper splitter droop / sag on CU1 ES-GT

The front bumper splitter on my CU1 ES-GT doesn't seem to be properly attached. See attached photos and video (apologies for low res - there is a limit on this forum). Video: Droop / sag In the video, you can see that the splitter seems to bow on the sides if you push it up in the middle...

    Coolant Flush

I have not experienced your problem and own a petrol so this may not be relevant. I had a successful flush using Holtz Speedflush. Keep in mind that how flush is just as important as the cleaner you use. For example, I had a empty my radiator 2 times before all of the original coolant was...

People with fitment experience wanted: how do I minimise rubbing risk and why isn't suspension travel considered?

Looks beautiful. I agree with your point about staggered Vs square setup.

People with fitment experience wanted: how do I minimise rubbing risk and why isn't suspension travel considered?

Update: I have 18x8.5J ET40 and I'd say that they have the perfect poke. No rubbing with OEM suspension and 245/40/18 tyres. We'll see what happens when she's lowered. FYI: attached is someone else's car but same wheels. Apologies for the small images. I think there's a 250KB limit.

Ah awesome thanks for the info! If the guy responds, I'll give an update on if these fit.

Oh that's odd... You'd expect something as safety critical as tyres to have some stricter standards. And I fell for the same mistake on tyre specs too! Thought it was mm but is actually % of width.
