    Throttle Pedal Sensitivity

Hi I had issues with the nature of the accelerator pedal response. In my case the car would either hold a constant speed or try and grab the bumper of the car in front making it tricky to drive in traffic. If this is your issue then changing this valve solved it for me (the secondary issue of...

    P1057 Code

Well that didn't work. Error code reappeared and I checked the voltage across the valve. 3v at idle then nothing then 3v again. Right, no power then. Checked the ECU pins and one was loose with damaged insulation on the same wire. Someone has been here before I think! Thought it suspicious that...

    P1057 Code

To update: code returned during normal driving last week after being absent following the install of a new battery. Valve ordered (Bosch 0928400707) and installed. On restart code remained but disappeared once I'd driven 50yds and hasn't returned yet. Fingers crossed that's a fix.

    P1057 Code

Hi I have a 2014 Type S and the fault code popped up today on restart with a warm engine. Google tells me this is the Fuel Rail Pressure Control Valve circuit open (P1057). I've disconnected the cable and checked the reader across the pins and I am getting 3ohms. I'm a bit confused now - I was...

    Crank no start

Hi all I thought I would share an issue I had this week, together with the solution. I changed the clutch master and slave cylinder pistons on Monday. Completed the job, reassembled and was then ready for a test drive. I turned the key to find that the dash lit up with error codes and the car...

    Varying Clutch Bite Point

An update it case it is of use to anyone. Since adjusting the clutch again all seems well. I am now convinced that the problem was/is the master cylinder (I spotted the other forum post on the same subject just after writing mine - d'oh) and there looks to be a honda kit which provides the...

    Varying Clutch Bite Point

Hi All I bought a 2014 Type S tourer about 3 months ago and am a big fan. The only thing spoiling the drive is varying clutch bite point which makes moving off tricky. I know that the car was standing for about a year before I bought it and I did notice on the test drive that the bite was very...
