    Wheel Size/comfort

My 2.4 Tourer has 16's and 205/55/16 91v. I'm actually thinking of getting a set of 17's to put on there as the 16's just look tiny on the car. Be aware any XL rated tyre will inherently be stiffer hence a harsher ride and potentially nosier than the equivalent non XL tyre. So unless you...

    Bad Vibrations/Shudder Under Braking

Nope, TRW don't do drilled or grooved options for the Accord, that I could find anyway. 200miles+ no issues returned. Replaced the rears a few days later due to the disappointment with TRW. Put EBC disc/pad kit on the rear. Overall braking feel and performance has drastically improved over the TRW.

    Strange Whining/Grinding Noise When Starting

I bought a decent one from fleabay too, seems to be doing the job well. that was about £100 too. And it wasn't an exchange to I have the OE one off my 2.4 which still works was just getting a bit lazy and I didn't want to be stranded so swapped it out. I found it a very easy job by taking the...

    Noisey electiric car whine

Number of pulleys/wheels under the bonnet could be anything, could be alternator whine?

    Drone

OK, I wouldn't expect Yoko's to be noisy then. Still ight be worth a swap around front to back to see what happens unless you already did that. Then if nothings sticking yea I guess one would look at bearings, shafts etc.

    Drone

What brand of tyres do you have? cheapo budgets are known to cause droning noises (from personal experience), can make you chase your tail at bearings and all sorts. Saying that I find Bridgestone a noisy tyre and don't like them, only have two as they came on the car and too much life left in...

    Bad Vibrations/Shudder Under Braking

Well just got back from a short gingerly drive after fitting new Jurid Coated discs and Bendix pads, I had one of those stonking GSF codes so got the set for £80. Problem seems to have disappeared although I need to give it some miles before I do any heavy braking. Very surprised by this as...

    Bad Vibrations/Shudder Under Braking

Wheels swapped front/back. No difference. Investigating replacement discs/pads now. It's the only thing left that I can think of.

    Bad Vibrations/Shudder Under Braking

Hi Matt, I can confirm its not the ABS. My experience of ABS activating is the sensation felt in the pedal as the modulator pumps and I do not feel that. I tested the ABS when we had a bit of snow and could feel the ABS distinctly different feeling.

    2.4 auto mpg

I have gotten 36mpg in a run from my 2.4 Auto Tourer. 20-30mpg in town. My AC is on all the time. MPG depends on a lot of things including maintenance. I don't think ppl buy 2.4s for their economy...

    Wheels doesn't center properly

My tourer is the same with self centering. No issues with ball joints as I have undone and inspected them. I have also done a PAS flush with OE fluid which did help notchy feeling but no difference to self centering. Alignment on geometry system shows no problems either. I just think it's the...

    Bad Vibrations/Shudder Under Braking

This crossed my mind regarding build up of pad material although I would have expected the DTI to pick that up. I do get a grip and slip sensation when applying the brakes at low and moderate speeds. I wasn't sure how to explain it but grip and slip makes sense.

    Bad Vibrations/Shudder Under Braking

Been through this in original post. Tyres out of balance I know from my own experience is felt regardless of brake application. alignment is fine. Thanks.
