Decision made!!! Went for 18,s in the end. Slight compromise on size in favour of potential comfort. But in a style that looks 'large' if that makes sense. Pics will follow after I get them fitted tomorrow. Then we'll see about a slight drop :-)

I thought Accord standard was et55 to, or at least that's what I have found. ET 42 on 19 X 8.5 fit OK you think.?

Cheers for the pic Mark. What offset are they? Standard Type S suspension set up? Again, anyone know if the Type S suspension is any different to the EX?

Hmmm....interesting. Brett, what does the A Spec suspension consist of? Am I right in thinking this is an OEM setup? It does appear that going to 19 throws out all of the 'standard' upsizing dimensions e.e 17 to 18 you can still have the same overall diameter etc but with 19, no matter what...

Oh b*******s well that doesn't help :-) Was hoping for a definite " don't bother with 19 as they will ruin everything" Jeeez.....I didn't take this long choosing my last house!

Right, I am at the point of clicking 'buy now' on the new alloys. I am still struggling to decide whether to go 18 or 19's. Anyone got any real world experiences with 19s? Are they 1 inch too far for our roads? Handing / Tyre wear issues? For the moment they will be on stock EX suspension...

Hello again forum peeps!! Been away for aaaaages. Still got the Accord and now finally looking to do some updating / mods after deciding she is a keeper for a couple more years . Jobs to do, in a sort of order; 1. Alloys and new tyres. Need new tyres so may as well put them on a set of shiny...

I'll be following this one with interest. Been looking into changing mine also. Have found someone locally (Longlife Exhausts) anyone had any experience? Just not got round to it yet.

Hmmmm....the more I look at my local chap the better he seems, full custom, all silencers hand made etc £550 including the dreaded VAT
