Hi jamie, a good place to check the earth connections is underneath the storage box in front of the ashtray. I had taken mine out the other week and there was a chassis grounding point there with a lot of cables connected to it , worth a look pal.

Just had a play with stereo tonight , did a reset by disconnecting battery neg ( couldn't find a marked fuse for stereo) this then made the CD play again then just kept half pushing another CD in slot and eventually the stereo ejected the stuck CD, tried it a few times with different CDs and...

It did before rob but now i can't hear any noise at all now. its going to be expensive i think !!!!!

Hi all, a :) ny members had faults with their car stereo systems. I have a 7th gen (2003) type-s with a B style stereo system , the problem is that a CD is stuck in the system the unit won't eject the CD or even play it now , grateful fpr any advice.

probably wouldnt have been too bad if they were just normal alloys but with them being coated it looks worse , but what mohammid says sounded very good £25 per wheel i thought it would be about £60ish per wheel . i will have to have look round and see if can get that price local .

having said all that in my previous post if the fuse is only a 7.5 amp fuse it will be only a low load fuse that does not protect circuits such as wipers or electric window motors these would more likely to be 20 to 30 amp fuses so i would think it would be a control fuse possible just for the...

only had the car a week it is on 82000 miles and last stamp in the book was for 80000 miles last august but then again that is only an ink stamp in a book , prob best to check plugs and filter with my own eyes. thanks for that.

this could well be a fault in your reversing lamp ***embly i.e. when you select reverse you put a feed to the reverse lamp bulb circuit and if there is a short in that circuit , possible wire worn through and touching on to chassis or water ingress in the lamp or even a faulty bulb !!!! so best...
