    Binding rear caliper

Hey guys where's the best place online to order a new/remanufactured rear caliper for my 2005 Accord? Anywhere apart from Bigred as their site is unavailable at the moment, ideally need to order today as I work away and only home for the week. Thanks guys.

    2.4 mileage per tank?

I normally get 400+ miles from a tank in my 1.8 and 2.0 Accord and used to get around 320 miles in my old EP3 which only had a 50 litre tank.

DIY 6th Gen Spark Plug Howto

I went with the NGK as I really couldn't justify spending twice as much. Im just trying to remember the service life of the NGK's as I had mine changed about 17k ago.

    Michelin tyres

Yes it does, it performs very well indeed. The dry grip is as good if not better than the Bridgestone Potenza's I had on my old EP3 Type R, I think when the tyres on my 6th gen need replacing it will be Pilot Sport 3's or Uniroyal Rainsport 3's :)

    Michelin tyres

I fitted some Pilot Sport 3's a couple weeks ago to my 7th in 225/45/17's and have done about 1500 miles since fitting. They are awesome in the dry and very good in the wet. My 6th gen also has Michelin's fitted in 205/50/16's but they aren't Pilot Sport 3's so im not sure if they are Primacy...

    Has my turbo gone?

Could it be that the shaft has gone plus the seals have let go and that might be the cause of the smoke?

Can you help a newbie select the correct wheels and tyres

Uniroyal Rainsport 3's and Michelin Pilot Sport 3's come highly recommended.

    Corroded airbox screws

I see your point and will make sure that I do that in future but that will only verify that the stamps are genuine Honda stamps and not that it has been maintained correctly. I only trust one garage with my cars and don't have any faith in dealerships.

    Corroded airbox screws

No at the time I bought it I didn't phone the dealership that it was last serviced at to check that it had been carried out correctly, not that they would give a damn about a 9 year old car. I probably spent 30 minutes or so checking the car before buying but sometimes you miss these things and...

    Corroded airbox screws

No the last service at 77k was done in November before I bought the car. If the corroded screws had been mentioned to the previous owner I don't think they would have been worried as they were the sort of person to put mismatched budget tyres on the rears and thats why I replaced them with...

    Corroded airbox screws

Actually the above post can be deleted as I have already sorted the issue, new K&N filter fitted and new screws ordered ready to collect from Phoenix Honda Saturday AM.

    Corroded airbox screws

Just thought as I had the week off I would get a bit of maintenance on the cars done and thought id change the air filter on the CL7 today but nothing is going to plan this week. The screws to the airbox lid are totally corroded and started to disintegrate when I tried to undo them. So despite...

    2.4 mpg

I have to laugh when I hear journeys of 250, 300 miles. That would be heaven and done without stopping, every other week my commute to work is 505 miles and for that I only stop for 5 minutes around the half way mark. I average about 70mph over the whole journey and get about 36mpg in both my...
