Two pics from the boot after two days of light rain

Hi there, I noticed there is some dampness in the boot spare wheel well. There isn't any standing water, whatever got in is absorbed by the small carpet trim piece underneath the tire. Is there any common cause with these leaks? There is no sunroof so obviously not the roof drain. Any help...
