    REMOVE the filler cap, start engine and watch for a stream of bubbles travelling across the coolant, a good indicator of blown head gasket, but it could be gearbox oil cooler? intercooler?

    Maybe the lines need changing? when I had the same problem on my 7th gen we got rebuilt calipers from BIG RED, new pads from IBC, and new lines, never had the problem again.

    Strange I have 2011 idtec tourer and the fuel filter is under the rear of the car, in front of the nearside suspension units. Maybe because mine is a automatic box?

    Change the fuel filter?? you will find it close to rear wheel midships, easier done at your local indy garage.
