    Repost: Can I Replace a 2006 EX-L Coupe bumper with one from a 2003 Estate Type S?

right :p then yes, it will fit, but with a few caveats: pre-facelift (03-05) petrol bumpers do not fit diesel models fog lights(if you have them) are different between pre-facelift and facelift some trim levels were not sold with headlight washers

    N/S Engine Mount - replacing ?

bushings come in all shapes and sizes, but finding the right one might be tricky can confirm polyurethane sealant works, have used betaseal and sikatack elite - the latter definitely cures faster and has a bit more give when cured. always use an activator for best results :p

    Front shocks

no, they shouldn't be. what bilsteins are you looking at? my b6 units can go on either side, the spring collar rotates, and if memory serves stock can too even if the collar doesn't rotate

    Faulty boot close sensor

since the plug serves two functions I would make a test lamp with two lengths of copper wire, a paper clip and a 12v bulb, attach one end of the copper wire to a good ground like the locking bar and then probe one pin on the plug at a time with wire + paper clip, as you're using the keyfob to...

    Faulty boot close sensor

typically on the locking mechanism but sometimes also activated by a plunger or rod. but for the accord it's a 3 prong plug, it grounds through the body and one is for release signal and the other two are for the continuity check(I think) the "easy" way to do this is to pry the shielding/casing...

    Faulty boot close sensor

shorting it won't solve your problem if your loom is the culprit, but it doesn't cost more than a paper clip and some tape to try

What have you done to your Accord lately?

we got another one! his & hers now wheels and grill are temporary, gf wants to respray it in pirates black pearl after sorting the rust and dings on it, spoiler being added. either mugen or oem needs some front suspension tlc(squeaky top hats and separated lca bushings) and sand blasting of the...

    Condenser O-Rings

I've never had a problem using ebay o rings at work, you'll most likely be fine, with many rings for later sometimes the coating or galvanization on the bolts or nuts flake off and the steel underneath corrodes and essentially welds itself to the aluminium couplings, they can be a bit tough to...

    DIY injector overhaul

self priming is not the same as self bleeding; the pump in your tank will prime your fuel system when you turn on the ignition but it will not bleed air out of it. some air can be bled "naturally" through the return line, but if there is enough air in the system, and that air is in front of the...

    DIY injector overhaul

tried the primer bulb? or does the 8th gen not have one? squirting diesel into the intake with a spray bottle while cranking may help and can skip the bleed process entirely but access may be a problem if all else fails you can get a buddy to help crank to build pressure and then you crack the...

    Ball joint press

I left mine in. follow the wire up the knuckle and upper wishbone and you'll see a passthrough, two flatheads to pop it off and then follow the wire through and you'll find a plug to undo

    Rust

where did you get your arches from? a mere year ago klokkerholm, van vezel and other suppliers could not source rear arches and oem was the only option, so I had to do pie cuts to an L profile plate and weld it all back together, I'm 90% happy with it, but I've recently bought two from a polish...
